Five minutes in and out......I hope none of you yoyo's sent in money for the fine.....basically said there wasn't enough evidence to decipher who was speeding specifically.....just sucks I had to go all the way out to shithole aberdeen

It's relevant. I mentioned it as a joke because they put an article in the paper when they 'busted' everyone. It's only fair that the media mention this too as a follow-up

I would like to see it happen but not holding my breath of it making the paper. Remeber that most local papers are very liberial.

Asking for 'dismissal with prejudice' would not have netted you any money. 'Dismissal with prejudice' only means the case cannot be refiled. it has nothing to do with $$$s and infact would have specificly precluded you from ever asking for $$$s.

Now it could be possible to file a class action suit against the agency that ticketed you without appropriate proof of your alleged misdoings. You could contend that your loss of time, both on the day of the traffic stop and the day of the court hearing and gas and travel expenses, was worth money in the terms of a loss. I doubt you would get anyplace on this as the courts would be very reluctant to make precedent like this. BUT if you could find that one lawyer.... =] lol
