Default Test Drive

Okay so I found a 03 Black SRT has purple ghost flames on the front (not a huge fan) car seemed to run fine, held boost at 11psi. later found out it is st1, short ram intake, turbo-back exhaust, and some suspension work cuz it's lowered. umm but the weird thing was the sales man told me that they gave the previous owner 16,700 for it and they were listing this at 15,900....he said it was weird that they would sell it for less than the paid for it( i don't believe him that they would sell it for less) I figure the car's worth like 11-12k just since i've been on this forum for at least a year and know these cars pretty well for a non-owner. what do you guys think?

You don't want an 03 they are SLOWWWWWWWW.

I would think anything under $17,000 is a great deal.

Hey, my dad is selling his '04 w/ 27,000 miles on it for like $15,500 or something like that. The car is red w/sunroof and bone stock. It's in really nice condition too.

Anything under $17K is not a good deal. 2003 SRT's can be had for less than $15K these days.

Stick it out and find an 04. The LSD is worth it, as is finding one with the paint you like. Also, be sure to point out to the dealership that aftermarket parts lower the resale value of the car, not increase it.
