With all the SRT hate going around I thought I should share something that I saw a few years ago. Right before I bought my SRT I lived in Roseburg. I drove a rather slow 01 Mazda Prot?g?. I had just finished pick up a few things at Wal-Mart. I was sitting in my car when I see this POS blue car in the parking lot with a kid hanging out the back window holding on to a shopping cart. They speed up to about 30 and the kid hanging out the window lets going of the cart slamming it into this parked car at the end of the parking lot, and speeds off. I was so pissed I laid rubber out of the parking lot to give chase. I think I blew the a red light pulling out of the parking lot in order to keep up. I got on the phone with 911. As it always is when you really need an police officer they are a little slow, this time wasn't any deferent. I followed these pucks for about a mile down streets I didn't know and ended up at some mini mart. I pulled in right behind these kids. 911 got my location and said that they had an officer on the way, and got off the phone. There were 3 want to be thugs with gold chains that hopped out of the car. As I was by myself I wasn't interested in a 3 on 1 fight, I stayed in my car. These kids start walking around my car yelling at me to get out. I told the kids that the police were on their way and they should remain in their car. They eventually got in their car, then went in the store, back in their car. Then finally the police arrived. I went back to Wal-Mart with a officer and pointed out the car. I think the car was a older Honda station wagon. I went inside and the customer service lady said that it was one of their employees cars. Sadly the lady only had liability on the car. The damage was bad enough to keep the door from opening properly. The officer told be that the 3 kids were going to get cited for criminal mischief
I don't know what happened to these kids, I suspect that they got a few hours of community service.
