yes,..i left keys on floormat,..went in store, literally 1 minute....walked outside and saw some meth-head punk sitting in drivers seat. after .5seconds of "WTF!?" ran at him,and he backed out,...launched my soda can at his head(cause both driver and passenger front windows were down),and nailed passenger door jumped at open passenger window and got tossed when he floored it (making it backfire also grrr). 3 seconds later,.....gone with the wind.
this occured near woodinville at the 76 station @ SR522 and paradise lake rd.
if anyone knows any information, for example: junkie selling '04 stock parts. please please help me out. the police aren't doing shit to help me. insurance company making me wait 30 days before they pay on claim. car was black,mostly stock 'cept for downpipe. few minor blemishes on front and rear bumper,small dent on top of roof(like someone punched it from inside passenger seat) and lisc# is/was 749VMY.
additionaly, i dont have much optimism in the way of recovering vehicle.
if any has lead on '04-'05 for sale,..id appreciate that information as well.

I am probably selling mine as much as it pains me to say it. I dont want to, but it seems like I just might anyways.
I'm going to the dealer to look at the next vehicle today. I'll be damned if they touch my car. I will probably be parting out the car before I sell, it makes more $ sense for me that way. Unless I found a buyer who wanted the mods, and paid for the car accordingly.

Sucks about the car man. If it's a meth head, he probably ripped out all of the copper wire and sold it for scrap lol. I kid but really..I hope you find your car and/or I hope you had gap insurance if you're upside down/if you have a loan on the car.
I live in Lake Forest Park and I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll write down the tag number on a sticky note and put it on my dash. Be sure to let us know what happens.

next time you park a car with the windows down at least take the keys with you.
just so you know your probably fucked since the insurance companh may not pay for it getting stolen because it was your fault you may as well have left them in the ignition with it running cause thats how the insurance company will see it
same thing happened to my friend he left the car running while he ran inside the store and 2 seconds later some crackhead stole his shit

and as for leaving the keys on the floor,..my insurance already said im covered (deductible only $100). and yes i was paying it off,..and yes i have gap insurance.
needless to say,..i wont be leaving any vehicle unsecured for any length of time,ever again. thanx for replies.

just bought the car in Feb. and fell in love instantly. so no doubt i will get another srt-4. maybe this time i can find one with sunroof heh.
after a few days of kickin myself,..this might be a blessing in disguise, because....i paid too much for the car in first place,..front and rear scratches to paint,..front right wheel damaged from curb/s,....motor mount broken,..dent on roof,...had check engine light first day i drove it (turned out to be sparkplugs problem, misfiring.),...and no sunroof. all that and i paid him $15.5 for vehicle with approx 60k mi.
so,..if i end up having to buy another one,..i will be more careful and pay more attention to detail.....ill be honest i test drove it (after selling my '01Honda Prelude vtec 2.2) and was blinded by performance lol.
