Yep we have the test car up in Canada running and with 15 passes under his belt now and damn near 130 MPH in the 1/4 mile. I will be porting an exhaust manifold for him very soon and he is looking into upping the boost (he will have to take it off PCM control soon). 11.44 was the trap speed and that was with 1.89 60 ft. He is spinning on slicks in 1st and 2nd gear with a little spin when shifting into 3rd so new slicks may be on order.
I just wanted to update you guys with this info since a few of you have been questioning the upgrade for your car. I may have to keep these out of the NW if I plan on running one and racing all of you.... hmmm decisions decisions.
Right on post up the time sheet to make it official. I bet by tomorrow all the poo poo people will be calling you on it.
I should have a video of it middle of this week. As far as people calling me on it, I really don't care. There were several that were eye witness to it that are here on the forums. Now all I need is someone to convert it over to HP for me, what does a 3000lb car running at 129 MPH make HP wise. I bet its over 500.....
Thanks for all the props guys. I want a car in the top 10 speed and trap wise and it looks like we might be there. I am sure my car will be in that spot as well I just have to get the damn clutch broke in.
Yeppers and it has been stated that he may have not been WOT shifting on that run as well. If thats the case, 11.1's and add a MPH or 2 to that total. Now just imagine, WOT shifting better tires, lower 60 ft times and we could be looking at solid 10's. Now in my world add a 50 shot and lets see just how far into the 10's we can go??? 10.49 and you need a suit with extras, that would freaking rock!
