I'd rather the person think we were wierd and overly obsesive, then not know about our group and our passion.

They'll take 2 minutes to get over themselves if they're pissed over it. They'll thank us for years to come that someone bothered to let them know about the group if they didn't know about it.

I followed a guy down here in Corvallis for a whole 1/2 a block and pulled in beside him to strike up a conversation and the guy totaly pricked out on me. Four other times in the past I've gotten a positive response from talking to other SRT-4 owners on the roll. One of the guys I met in Salem joined up within the week.

20% failure rate means I continue. Fuck'em if they want to be in the dark.
