I'm really looking forward to driving school at PIR on the 30th. Got in on the last opening for group 2. I had a great time in March. I rode passenger with Jim (?) the Sheriff during the lunch hour. Scared the hell out of me (in a fun and exhilarating way) and my cloths smelled like brake smoke for a couple of days. It cracks me up that his shotgun was still strapped in while he was on the track. He left a line of rubber line on corner 5 which I found to be quite helpful for entrance into that corner.
Who's going, what group? Which hotel do you guys usually stay? Days Inn? Let me know where you're staying or if you're going out, wouldn't mind grabbing a beer, prefer not to go alone. I am tossing around the idea of Wednesday Night Drags after school. Not sure they're running but the schedule implies that they are. Does anyone else think that they might run a few passes that evening? OK, see you in Portland. Cynthia
What's up Cynthia! I remember you from last time. The usual will be there. That includes Frog, Me, JR, Plan B, and Dave (Instructor), and I think Checksum will make it out to this one again. We will be staying at Motel 6 just by the track again. It is customary that we go to the bbq afterwards and then get together for a little Sessions (beer) night. Come hangout, have a good time, and we'll see you in Portland.
As far as groups, I think everyone will be in group 3. You and Checksum will be in group 2. WOOT, it's going to be fun!!!

What time are you guys getting to Portland? Are you going out or hanging out Tuesday night? I reserved a room at Motel 6, will arrive around 8pm. Maybe catch up with you there.
I'm planning to attend the BBQ on Wed. Won't be able to stay real late for fun and games, have to be at a conference at Seatac 0800 Thursday morning. It'll be fun to hang out awhile. C
