Default Seattle 4th of July fireworks??

I'm new to the area and was wondering if I can get a some pointers of where to go to see some good fireworks. I heard they launch some off the top of the space needle or something. Any inputs or advice?

West Seattle, Alki Beach. You gotta get there several hours early, however.

The waterfront in Kirkland is a good place, too. You can see right across the water to the fireworks in Seattle, and any others that are going on.
