Are bipolar. Saturday night, they swear they're cracking down on street racing. They got out of their cop cars with rulers. You think Cali's gay with smog? We were getting wrote up for not being parked within 12 inches of the curb. 60 dollar tickets. They wrote up a couple of people after warnings for "standing in the street" because they had their hood popped open and they were standing next to it.
On a more cheerful note, had a friend with me in the car last night around midnight and he hadn't seen what it could do. As I come out wide open, I look left and see the cop... Rolls me, asks me why I was going 75 in a 35 and I told him stupid kids. He smiled, left with my license... Came back with a warning for 65 in a 35 and bullshitted with me about my car. He asked me how fast it goes. I'm like........ Uh.... At the track? lol But he gave me props, told me to be safe, and let me go. I was sweatin bullets and shitting bricks.

We used to street race in salem 2-3 years ago like crazy. Cops were dicks back then but that last time we raced i think we were on commercial road (something like that) and they searched my whole entire car for everything. None the less we take it to the track now these days. Do people still hang out around the downtown area just off 99w? around 11pm to 12pm midnight? that used to be the hot spot for everything.
That's exactly where we were at. We don't race downtown, we take it to the wilderness. But we hang out just up the road from where you're talkng about.
You're gonna get cops who are assholes and you're gonna get cops that give you a break. It's luck that determines whether you get the former or the latter. I roll the dice every time I step on the loud pedal.
If it sounds like a Yatzee game under the hood at that point, you have problems.
