Default Renton Lithia Dodge problems

i got a oil change done at Renton Lithia and the tech forgot to put the motor oil cap back on so the engine sprayed oil on the motor, hood, spark plug wires all that good stuff, so i went down there they put a new one free of charge put they didnt clean the oil that had sprayed everywhere, so that happend today and i found out my axel is leaking oil so i had a pretty damn fun day.

axles are easy to change. Get one from moparsupercenter they're $106. should take about 45 minutes tops to change one.

hopefully that wasnt nick, our resident lithia employee. he is the lube tech.

im guessing he wouldnt have done that. i think he was telling me about another guy there who has that type of habit.

i would use a strong degreaser. castrol super clean seems to be pretty good. engine gunk works, but leaves a horrid smell. make sure the car is not hot. warm could be okay, but not hot. spray it down and use an old brush you dont care much about anymore.

problems with dealerships eh? god tell me about it...is Tom Matson notorious for being the slowest dealership ever?!?!?! My car arrived at Tom Matson on Wed. morning and had an appointment to have the fuse box replaced becuase it had a crack in it...(because of the accident)...well it is now Thursday night and I still dont have my car...wtf is the deal? So we are going onto Friday with no for sure that the car is coming back...ALL BECUASE OF A SIMPLE CRACKED FUSE BOX! ARRGGGHHHH!

Lithia Dodge > Tom Matson

Nick... What... wow, nick is my resident lube tech. Sorry to hear about this. Was it busy day??? I made my appointment for my car to get warranty work and it sounded a little busy through the phone today.

sorry dude, i coulda sworn i put it back on...whenever i take an oil cap off i set it right where the hood would latch so if i forget the cap the hood wont close. Thats the first time thats happened to me. I didnt see any oil though and the service advisor told me you already cleaned it. Sorry again, i felt bad. If i left any oil, bring it back in and ill clean it up for you.
