Werd. I run my plate in my windshield. I've only been 'talked to' once. No ticket, however.

Well, let us know if you get hassled. I've been contemplating this myself.

As for the E-Blue eyelids, there are some that are close. But when you see them in the sun, there is a definite shade and metalflake difference. The solution, if you want matching eyelids is to buy the CF eyelids (or fiberglass... CBD is coming out with glass versions soon) and have them painted to match.
You can also paint the vinyl, but I can see that being a lot of fun!

I found a place down here in Oly that'll mix you up a spray can of code-matched paint. $35 for setup and $9 per can.

I bought my CF eyelids with the painting plan in mind. Then I put them on the car... They look to damn good to paint!

Agree. Did you have any trouble getting the adhesive primer around the light? Those glass ampules are a pain. I had to ask CBD for some more since I screwed up the first one...

Naw, no problem with the primer..other than it fogs the acrylic wherever you put it. I got a little overzealous so I have some polishing to do ....

It depends on how much of an asshole your local cops are. Other than the plate, they have no other reason to pull me over. I don't give them one.
LFP cops don't say anything, the state patrol doesn't seem to care, and Bothell PD has had a chat with me once. He didn't like my tinted rear cover or the front plate in the window. I removed the plate cover and left the plate in the window and haven't been hassled since. Oh, and Bothell PD said something about it one time when I got a speeding ticket, but didn't ticket me for it.

Bad srt4eva! No biscuit!

You're blocking your intercooler.

Just kiding man. Looks good. Just wish the zip ties were a little less obvious.
