ok, so with the upcoming road trip i thought i would go ahead and get some matinance done, i got the radiator flushed and trans fuid changed.
so my question is is it normal to have some steaming under the hood after a flush. the dealership told me it was just water/fluid evaperating off the engine/radiator. it makes sense to me but is it normal and how long should i see it?
they said it would be no problem for them to tkae it back in and check it out, but if its not needed i would rather not

if you spilled over, then yes it will take a little bit of time for it to burn off or evaperate. I just changed my tranny fluid today, what did you use for fluid? I also did the oil yesterday.
i had the work done at the dealer, they used "mopar" fluid of some sort, at least thats what the work order says,
it does look like they spilled some, and it only steams right when the fan turns on. there is no leaking or dripping on the ground. it just scared the crap out of me when it first happened, i called them right then and they said it was normal, they should tell you that crap when you pick-up the car
Hopefully they used the green Schucks special coolant.....
green coolant owns
if anybody wants me to do their radiator flushes or tranny fluid changes or oil changes call me 425-213-0928 (my number recently changed) i will hook you up. if you want me to change your oil ide recomend that you bring your own because i wouldnt trust jiffy lube's oil, but we honestly have really good radiator fluid. 40 dollars for a radiator flush 20 to do your tranny fluid and 10 dollars to do your oil change if you bring your own oil
