nope u got that exactly right, theres to many little kids down there that just got there license and think they can drive how they want to. i down wit kent/renton atleast on the weekends. actuall fast cars go down there on like wensdays and thursdays
Well I just got home from jail, Woo hoo! ! ! ! I would advise everyone who reads this to not do 145 in a 65. The police frown on that up north. But got some good runs in before "the bust." Anyways I'm off to pick up my car from the impound, hopefully they're open on sundays.
P.S. Ohh yeah and when me and my friends go up there we never get caught up with all the "kids" we usually keep it to under ten cars. And only people we know and you must have a somewhat fast car. (The only way to go racing)

Reason: Forgot something
I was going to post on this thread when I read it that you guys were nuts for racing over there with all the cops lately but I didn't hit submit because I didn't want to sound like a bitch but.... DONT STREET RACE IN KENT.

damn that sucks about the getting arrested and the impound and keeping it under 10 cars is a smart idea
Street racing is never a good idea! Glad to hear no-one was hurt.
I know you guys have heard and done it all b4 ... but I am going to relate this short story to you ne way ... so read on or close the window whichever you want.
Many years ago I raced a friend of mine on some back roads out in the country. It was late at night and very dark. Came around a blind corner @ about 110 in a 40 mph zone. There was a car with a flat partially on the shoulder ... he couldn't get all the way off the road. My friend swerved to miss the car and hit the ditch. When the ambulance arrived the EMTs took one look and said no way were they gonna save his leg. He now drives an automatic. But the worst was avoided since there was an infant and a 3 year old kid in that car with the flat. I was fortunate to have been the "loser" of that race and was able to stop without hitting anything.
Yeah I won I walked on that evo (modded) and some guy in a WS6 (stock, I think). Ticket was for street racing and public endangerment. 1250.00 but it won't stick so I'm not too worried. It was just north of downtown seattle before UW. Yes I was the only one to get caught cause I had 6-7 cars on the evo. D-Srt I know it's not the smartest thing or the safest to run on the streets but I take as many precautions as I possibbly can to make sure that accidents aren't a common occurence. I'm sorry for your friend and anyone else who has been hurt in street racing. But people take their lives into the their own hands and the hands of the drivers around them everytime they get into a car.
Don't forget street racing is the root of most modern day racing series and championships.
P.S. I do not condone illegal street racing and this thread was meant for entertainment puposes only. No animals were harmed in the making of this thread or threads pertaining to this subject.
145 in a 65 ... well at least you were on the highway instead of doing this through some residential area ... again ... just glad no-one was hurt ... I also know that almost everyone takes as many precautions as they can during this type of activity and I am glad to hear you are one of them.
Side note ... it is very true that "street racing" is the root of virtualy all types of racing we now enjoy today and just because some people go to the track instead of the street doesn't mean it isn't potentially dangerous. But it does mean that you wouldn't be fighting a ticket ... though to hit 145 you would need a bit more than a 1/4 mile hehe
i'll go up to kent just to see some of the cars that show. I split once they go to street race though. I dont trust any of those kids let alone dont wanna get cought. I will engage in a street rac or two but i never go at times where i fell any bit of an uncomfortable feeling. Nor do i weave and whatnot throught traffic.
