Question for the Military Guys - Banned Dealerships
There's a news report that indicates that the customer service was so bad at a Tucson, AZ Mitsubishi Dealership that soldiers have been banned from doing business there.
I had heard rumors about banned dealerships before but never believed that the rumors were true. The above news report has changed my belief - there's a quote from an Army Official indicating that the Dealership has been banned.
Here are my questions for the local Military Guys:
-- If you were on-base in AZ, how would you know that the Dealership was banned?
-- Are there any local Dealerships in the WA area that are banned?
-- What would happen to a soldier that broke the ban and bought a car at a banned dealership?
Any input would be appreciated - thanks in advance.

I would say nothing would happen, but do not count on the support of any armed service legal support because you were warned.

one of the main reasons these dealers get banned is, when these guys have their own "in house financing". For the most part, a lot of guys that just got in and need a car, and don't bother looking at the small print of their contract. and what bother me is, when these guys agree to stupid interest rates, then go and bithch to theri chain of command about the payments.
Kind of a catch 22 there. For the most part, their is a bulliten that is put out on these banned dealerships. If the commandors are squered away, they will put it out on their sefty brief.
When a bann comes out like this, it is always put out by an officer. If someone decides to ignore it, and gets cought, that person will get burned, period.
I've been out for a year know, but I know of some that SHOULD be banned....Namely a one "Curbside Motors" theres one in AUburn and in Tacoma....those jerkoffs need a beating.....
man just face it. the young military guys are the ones being taken on this. You join the military and they give u upwards of 30k (for the army). So give someone whos 18 a ton of money and no credit.. someones gonna get ripped off. Totally sucks but there are plenty of people out there that will stop at nothing to rip people off and the young military people are prob some of the easiest targets.
Since I've never been in the military I wasn't sure how much control they had over your personal lives and how they would communicate which dealerships were banned.
It sounds like a dealership would have to be really bad before they got banned - the case in AZ illustrates the point.

Thanks again for the information.
according to the UCMJ they have ALOT of control of your personal life. Hell correct me if i am wrong but isn't there a part in there saying that you have to have sex in the missionary position. They obviously dont enforce it or there would be alot of people in trouble
But from my experience they usually ban the place because they found it to be doing something illegal. I believe McChord has a Spa on it (because of happy endings). They usually post this information in each building and they tell you if you are caught at those places you will be in trouble. My buddy is OSI officer and they used base decals to bust people. Cause they would cruise the parking lot of the banned place and write decals down then bust em when they got back to base.
Never heard of the missionary only position, BUT we do have Article 125: Sodomy
It is unnatural carnal copulation for a person to take into that person’s mouth or anus the sexual organ of another person or of an animal; or to place that person’s sexual organ in the mouth or anus of another person or of an animal; or to have carnal copulation in any opening of the body, except the sexual parts, with another person; or to have carnal copulation with an animal.

Wow, that's actually a lot more control than I thought they had.

thats funny because when i was in japan they advertised "massage parlors" in the base newspaper that did happy endings. maybe because its over there its ok but thats kinda conflicting. and our base doesnt do decals so thats kinda hard for osi to use against us.
there are a bunch of off limit joints that are posted.....I will see if I can remember when I go next door to write em down....I remember when I was stationed here I was single and a pimp and I would go to Cafe Arizona on the regular out in Fed. Way....I know that place is on the list know....the place was a dive
