tim (my hubby) was pulled over on his way to work for having a modified exhaust. all he has is a vibrant dual exhaust. the ticket was for $202.
he was pulled over by a snohomish county sheriff. the first words out of the officers mouth was, you have a modified exhaust. and tim said that it was just the muffler. and then the officer said it seemed like you were a bit aggressive when crossing the intersection. the ticket itself is for modified exhaust and improper passing aggressive. which tim is lost as to how it was aggressive. he said the cop was rude and would even answer his questions.he wanted to know what he was getting the ticket for and all he says is "read it, oh and i'll see you in court". there was no one in the other lane when he used his blinker to change lanes. and he never when over 45. which is the speed limit btw. and when he was in the turning lane the cop was in the lane next to him and told the guy behind tim he wanted in with no lights or anything, while obstructing traffic to do so. and while he was sitting waiting for the light to turn two cars rant he red light and he did nothing. lol. he waited till half way through the turn to turn on his lights. which all made him late for work. the whole thing seems shady. lol. so if anyone has any suggestions on where to look for info lemme know. thanks.
Cop found a sucker, you need to hire a representative and fight. Yes it sucks but you have no alternatives. Same thing happened to me on HWY 20 over the pass. I won and turned in a harassment complaint which stays on the WSP record. I'll post my attorney's number tomorrow. 300.00
