Default Problem: won't start up

My srt won't fire up, heres a thread on it:
http://www.srtforums.com/forums/show...50#post4525050
I hope someone local might be able to chime in with some help. I'm getting desperate, I need my baby running by tomorrow I want to see if it might be teh coil. Anyone close to Kirkland have a extra coil? Or even possibly meeting up with me with their srt to try out their coil since it's an easy 4 bolts or something.

I don't want to put anyone on the spot though, any sort of help, suggestions, would be great, thanks,

-Roby

Check your fuses like Goat says. Did you do anything to the car prior to this happening. How's your battery? These are some of the most common problems for a car not starting.

yea I got remote start as well as turbo timer with this compustar alarm system. How do I check relays? You can't tell if their bad like fuses right?

The car turns over but won't fire up. I checked the coil for spark and it gives spark. I smell gas from the tail pipes so I guess it's gettin gas too. The plugs and wires are pretty new. Wheres the ASD fuse and what does it do?

I just drove a bit spirited running errand before I got home and parked for an hour, then went to leave again and that happened... Battery is fine, if it was bad it wouldn't even turn over right? or my lights and everything else wouldn't turn on. But those work

Jump the damn thing and zap the shit out of it. LOL. Maybe it will start.....

Sometimes your power seems all good but in reality it's too low to start the car. Did you at least try it?

remove the fuse for the alarm, reset the puter, see if it will start. the alarm may be conflicting with the skim module, causing it to think it is trying to be started without a key in the ignition....happened to me. its worth a shot.

I was thinking the same thing when I read through this thread.

If it starts and runs for a few seconds and then dies - it would be almost 100% certain that it's the SKIM system. If it never runs for even a few seconds, then it is most likely not the SKIM system.

If it never runs, it could be missing a sensor value and it should throw a code.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Is there a red dot on the dash blinking at you? Have you done the clear flood mode (hold WOT and crank it) this shuts off the injectors and clears the cylinders. If none of those work I am willing to bet that one of the scotch lock that they used cut through the wires finally and has left your car dead. Get it back to the stereo shop or alarm shop and have them fix it.

It's the fuel pump not turning on, I've tried everything to get it to turn on, fuses, relays, disonecting my alarm system, reseting the pcm, etc etc.. if you guys check out my other thread in the general discution area, theres more info on this problem. The link in my first post.
