Default Problem, possible solution?

Ok, lemme know how feasable this sounds to you...

I replaced my o2 with a ptp 3" o2 as well as my dp....during the install i discarded my upper heat shield.....some sya no prob...others say keep it....by the time i got it off, it was so mangled i figured i would just toss it....

anywho, since than i have been experiencing what seems to be spark blowout during wot, i am spiking 18 with an agp, and holding 15.......know i have MSD wires, and NGK plugs, both less than a month old, they were originally gapped at .038....since than i have regapped to .035 and .030 with no fix....i replaced the wires with the stock mopars and the problem has seemed to at least lessen....

my thought is maybe this, could the heatshield missing be putting to much heat on the coil pack? I am thinking with the MSD wires, they were running "hotter" than the stockers to begin with, that coupled with 200+ degrees coming off the turbine is causing some heavy bogging of the plugs

thoughts?? suggestions??

I will be fabbing up a heatshield for the coil pack soon, but if someone else has any other ideas, i am open to suggestions......

thanks in advance

You have Taylor wires now and the missfire is something else you are missing. Is more like fuel cut or spark blow out. Explain more of what the problem is, thanks.

Fuel needs to be checked and then we need to verify that you boost gauge is working correctly. Maybe it wasn't bad wires, shit.

I know that when my car gets real hot i get a stutter and pop in the top of 3 and 4th gear. My coil pack gets extremely hot. I would say get that heat shield that just covers the coil. It wouldn't hurt to have it.
