portland-where's the hang outs? - SRT Forums

me and my friend are going over to portland on the 15th and leaving the 16th so that he can get his car tuned at pdx, so i was wanting to get a feel for what portland has to offer.

Well we have more strip clubs per capita than any city our size(full nude). hawthorne street for the artistc and independent spirits. Downtown west side is old town and china town. Uptown west side of 405 21st and 23 rd street are the hip areas. Check out citysearch if you have some specific preferences or www.wweek.com Not to forget we have no less than ten micro brewpubs out here all have some great offerings. hope this helps a bit.

last time i was at a strip club was at one in portland. i cant believe how much money i spent. im not really a fan of strip clubs either. well, thats why i havent been since and were looking at probably a little over 3 years ago, probably 4 years.

15th and 16th are Friday and Saturday ... PIR Late Night Drags open to everyone .. Gates open @ 6:00 PM .. drags start @ about 6:30 to 7:00 ... They run till midnight. I am usually there ... prolly will be there that nite also.

how do you get to the raceway from downtown?? might stop by or something, kinda depends on if the girls i'm meeting up with are game (we never really talk about cars, so i don't know if she's into it or if her friend is either).

North on Interstate 5 to exit 306B. (bout 3 miles from downtown as the crow flies) At the light turn left. Bear right at the stop / yield sign. Turn left at first available. Turn left almost immediately and you are on the entrance road. (I-5 to entrance road < 1 min)

Entrance fee is $8.00 to watch, $20.00 to drive (you have to pay a one time fee $10.00 for a drivers card and number unless you already have one.) They check your vehicle for alcohol before the pay booth. (Pop trunk etc.) They don't give me much of a hard time. Only alcohol I bring is for the car ne hows.

Wish I had more suggestions for ya on places to go but I don't get out much.

sounds like fun, my buddy might want to see how the rex performs after the tune, so he's interested.
