Default Portland area hotels

I called a few hotels in a range of quality in the area. I got these from the PIR website and they are all close.

Courtyard by Marriott: $98 per room (I conned her into the Gov't rate on this)
Double Tree- Jantzen: $119
Shilo Inn-Vancouver: $88
Oxford Suites: $99
Motel 6: $55
Days Inn $71

All but the Motel 6 offers a breakfast. Oxford Suites has an evening reception with appetizers and 2 "adult drinks". I'm sure there is a "club" near each of these. These are all based on six rooms with two in each room. There would be two queens in each room, except Keith's; he would have to share a king with someone.

How close are these to the track and if I have to share a room with someone they can not snore. I can not sleep with a snor'er. Better yet I may try to bring the kids and wife down with me so we can make a weekend of it so I might need it for another night.

You can extend the length of stay, that shouldn't be a problem. As for the snoring thing, I have no control over that. I am certain if you slept with your helmet on it would deaden the snoring of your roommate.

Here is a link to the closest hotels.

Let me know dates, #rooms, #of guests etc.

It all depends what is important to you guys. There are many factors to consider, such as: proximity to PIR, free breakfast, cleanliness of bed linen, tolerance of our behavior and geographic density of strip clubs in relation to the hotel.

I made a reservation at the Motel 6 on Shmeer Rd for a non-smoking, double queen bed room. So, I have an extra bed to share if anyone's interested. Splitting cost looks like it will be $55-60 for two nights. My reservation is for thursday and friday nights since I plan to do the autocrosses over the weekend, too.

PM me if you're interested.

Closeness to the track is all that matters to me. I more than likely will be at the
Best Western
1215 n hayden meadows dr

I still have to call and should get it done today to see about rates and such. Also that motel 6 is close to the track. So i might be calling them also.
