Default Places to shoot

i am looking for a place to shoot around here. I am not talking like 7-11's and banks but out in the woods. I want to get away from ranges and what not too. I knew you used to be able to do it in green water but that has gone to the way side. I have heard out past carbonado and wilkeson. Does anyone know of some good spots? Where are they? If so maybe we could meet and do a little shooting.

Like clay pigeons or pistols? Not that I know of either place. My dad took me to a place for clay pigeons somewhere near auburn years ago (he's past on so i cant ask him where). I carry concealed - and usually go to the ranges. If your talkin pistol target practice i'd like to but I dont know anywhere the libs havent closed down anymore

I am also interested in this. The gun range seems to be to tame and I am getting tired of it. We used to go to the Sultan Basin up North, but they have closed that down.

I know you said you want to avoid the ranges, but I've heard good things about Kenmore.

Kenmore is for recreational clay shooting and traps. Sucks big time.

Handguns>clays

We've got one decent indoor range in Lynnwood, and another pretty decent indoor range in bothel. Both let you rent guns if you guys don't have any, or want to bring your significant other. I'd be up for some shooting.

I am talking about both clays and pistols. Last time i went past green water there were signs everywhere that said no shooting. I really dont doubt that they enforce it too. Ranges are really tame and it kinda bothers me because i grew up shooting in the woods!

a minimum of 7 fingers.

shooting is pretty fun. ive never shot out in the woods, but one of my managers has. is rec shooting and hunting allowed in the same place? i will ask him where he has been hunting before. only thing is that you might have to wait til hunting season.

i was lucky enough to know somebody who worked at wsi in bellevue when it was open. he hooked up the primo membership for free. and each time i went in he renewed it for another year from the date of my visit. just walked in, handed over my license and picked out wunna them there handguns. also the guy i know let us shoot his ar-15. its scary to know people have shit like that out there.

i dont go into the woods to play with guns unless im with people i know and trust really really well. if jaymzx feels safe then maybe i will be up for a trip out too.

I've only been to WSI and Wades ranges, and they both had the same rental rules: Valid Drivers license and >=21 years old (unless guardian there).

Last time I shot in the woods, was a camping trip a few years back at Fish Lake. Just went for a walk for a mile up away from camp sites and shot into a paper plate on a hillside. We were there for a couple hours, few hundred rounds, and no one complained (not that that makes it legal lol - perhaps we just werent caught?). Naturally we packed up all evidence for both respect of usage and well - to 'cover our bases'

I'd love to get together for something like this - but it's one of those things that the more people you got the more notice you'll draw. But when people are responsible and respectful it's usually not a problem.

you wouldn't want to go shooting during hunting season because you will have a bunch of pissed of hunters. All you will be doing is spooking the animals.
