OMG, so I bought my little brother (aempimp) Need For Speed: ProStreet for Christmas. We cheated and opened it early and he's playing it as we speak. To my surprise, our favorite HPDE track Portland International Raceways is in the game. Same exact track layout and it even has the writing saying "PIR".
Just thought it was cool to have one of our local tracks in the game. Those of you who want to run PIR all day long at home, go get this game.
i just drove a lap around there about a week ago. they have Christmas lights all around the track, so people can come and see them. looks like they were still pouring concrete for the rumble strips, but the new pavement is done. It was hard to see what the track looked like, and if they changed anything to it since it was dark out. I cant wait to see how it feels, how much faster we are, and what kind of grip it has to offer.

I really wish they would build a separate drag strip. The only problem with PIR for drag racing is they can only prep the first 300ft or so with VHT. I guess that stuff becomes nasty slippery when the track is wet and the strip doubles as the main straight for the racetrack.
thats not my favorite hpde track, but the event is pretty much my favorite. at that price, theres almost no competition. that is hella sweet though. i could so own at that game cause i know the ins and outs already. heheh.
