We can do that, I have the shop tied up till the end of July with builds. I need be we can take it down to the new location as well..... I hope that comes open in the next few days.
Sadly the 24x8x15 slicks were not enough to keep traction in 1st/2nd but did help in 3rd a bit
best 60ft was 1.90 with a .008 RT dumping at 4,000
12.043@123.60 mph with a 1.993 60ft spinning 1st-2nd and beginning of 3rd. Wasnt too impressed but glad it took the new NW record.
The Bad news is the last run (where we cut a .008 RT 1st round of eliminations) at about the 8th we blew a vac line and lost fuel pressure/boost controll I backed her out as soon as I saw the drop in FP but it was too late and we nuked a head gasket (which was bound to happen due to running high compression on a factory head gasket.) now I'm ordering a DCR head gasket and going to get it tossed on there and just say fuck it and build the head while its off.
The wife did suprise me with a recipt for some M&H 26'' slicks so that should solve my traction issues (roasted the 24''s @ 11.5psi of air)
I was the only 4cyl out there (they said turbo thunder was only yesterday due to a smaller turn out.)
anyway off to muckleshoot for dinner with the fam.

Hmmm im suprised to hear you had that much traction problems still. 11.5 psi is not bad, I guess I would have tried 10.......probally wouldnt have helped much at your power level. Im curious to see if even 26'' will hook you in 1st
Keep in mind bremerton is an old runway that is no where as good traction wise as pacific or mission.

its ok.. shit happens it was nice to set the new WA record but would have been better if she would have hooked a bit more.. no worries my household goods show up next week so that means my MSD DIS-2 Plus (with 2 step) shows up.. will be nice for launching and having more boost off the line.. and my new stickies should be here as well. The car will not see the track until sept when I get back to WA (near the end of the season when my turbo should shine a bit more) and during that timeframe she will be getting a fully built PTP head with a pretty radical cam setup.
