Default Opinions Please!!!

Want to run a smaller diameter wheel/ tire combo to better suit my hotchkis suspension. Was considering 15 or 16in rota slips w 225 rubber. any suggestions?

imo 16s are the sweet spot. 15 is for slicks, doesnt look good for everyday use. 17 is just as good as 16 if the price is better, and 18 is just too big. def go 16"

Depends on what rims your looking at. on a 16" rim it is hard to find 8" wide so your stuck at 215, 225 max tire width. If you run 17's 8" wide is easy to find and you can run 235, 245's. If you do not care about super wide rubber then find a light set of 16's. 16's are most of the time cheaper for both wheels and tires for the future. ohh ya and keep in mind if you want a big brake kit in the future cause they are not gonna fit under 16's.

I would say for a performance stand point 16's be the way. less mass to spin and all that good stuff. but if you looking for the slammed look and don't care if things could rub a little with a big drop go with 17's

Do 16" cover the brake caliper????? I was under the impression that they wouldn't (at least in the front). I know 15" rims won't cover the brake calipers except in the rear.

16s will fit just fine, they are used on the ACRs who have the same brake set up that a standard SRT4 has. not sure on the 15s though

i'd change my whole suspension before i ever went to 16s. I wouldn't even take the acr bbs' over the stock 17s. Just looks too
