Default Non-Turbo Thunder attendees,

you are all very homosexual. It was fun. Sean's last run (purposefully breaking out so we could go home) was a 13.46@102.18mph I believe. He turned the boost down, but not enough. Still pulling timing up top. You guys suck. Its a Saturday, no work BS for most of you, but nooooo. You didn't come. How gay. It was fun.

Non-attendees =

I posted stuff about Turbo Thunder a couple months ago and mentioned it to quite a few people at the track as well. Besides, nobody else besides me even replied to the most recent post about Turbo Thunder, which I think tells the story.

Everybody missed out big time (scared???). There's nothing like the sound of 7,8,9 and 10 second turbo cars screaming down the track. And it wasn't only GN's...maybe next year someone else besides me (again) will show up for some fun. The Buick guys were cool (one of them even loaned me a helmet).

I've been to turbo thuunder a few times. I hate the fact that the same little automatic POS that runs 14's always wins the elimination because it runs the exact same time over and over again so how hard is it to dial that in.

I don't think the event you went to was Turbo Thunder. This was the first year Turbo Thunder was held in Washington. Also, there was not a single person running 14's. We're talking about modded Grand Nationals/Turbo Regals, not POS's.

There were 3 different classes based on times, not just one overall winner. And by the way, ALL GN's are automatics. And my brother dialed in at 13.4 and ran a 13.46 in his SRT-4.

Correct first year in WA usually its in Woodburn. I have been a few times like I said and every year I post info on it here. Yes all GN are automatics but dont run 14's the last 3 years (unless I'm thinking of the other event I go to woodburn to see. there is a (POS) that dials in at like 14.3 or something and walks awy with the Turbo PRO money. Which is the class all NW SRT's would compete in because I see no one running in the mid 11's. I mean the event is great to go watch but unless you run faster then 11 seconds or drive a buick the event doesnt really care about you. They say all american turbo charged cars but they give out like 3-4 differnt BUICK trophies. Again I'm not really complaining just saying why I dont attend anymore. If I would have know before Thursday that it was in WA this year I would have went.

Who cares about winning.

Its about having fun and running your car. The Buick guys didn't seem to ignore us at all. And the only car running around 14.3 was a Mercury Mauder.

It wasn't in Woodburn; argo, the crowd was different this time around.
