Last year I planned on going on this drive but they scheduled it the same weekend as our dyno day. So I plan on going this year. They said all SRT's are welcome. Here's the info:
04/30/2005 its a SAT.
We will meet at the Westfield shopping center (Vancouver Mall) at 9am and try to leave by 9:30. We will head up the WA side of Hwy 14 and make a few stops, We will then cross over at Hood River and go the the CharBurger. I will have the Banquet room reserved. We then head down the OR side and take the old Historc HWY and make a few more stops.
This is a very fun run, and we normally have from 30-50cars. Any DSM can come and I don't mind if other cars come as long a they are a Turbo car.
These are the meet up spots from last year. They plan on meeting at the same spots this year. I will be at the first stop Bahama Breeze:
North of Seattle: Meet at Bahama Breeze (Old Southcenter Mall
Theater) before 6:00AM with or without me. You should leave there no
later than 6:10AM to be able to make it to the next meeting point.
Tacoma/Puyallup area: Meet at the I-5/512 McDs around 6:45AM. You
can fuel up the car at the Chevron and fuel up yourself at the same
time. We will be leaving there promptly at 7:00AM.
Olympia area and farther south: You can either wait for us on a
freeway on-ramp, or you can meet us at Napavine. That's normally a
good place to stop and re-fuel for everyone. That will be a VERY
short stop.

I am here to moderate you, and occasional Pimp Slap you A$$ when you get out of line.
NWDSM Puts on this Hood River Run oncea year and last few yearsI went was BADASS... nothing better then seeing 50+ cars in a row all boosting along was awesome!
I am actually going to be moved to Arizona by then...
we still need to set up a cruise for when i get back to WA state.. i think a cool ass cruise would be from the auburn area over the pass to eastern washington.. it would be a nice cruise and i know of some long straight roads that would be nice for some highway pulls over there in ellensburg area.. we can meet with some of the members on the other side of the hills.. and maybe hit up the speedway in yakima
The Track told me. There is a small group of people that do auto x and Drifting out there that have been asking me who to contact at Monroe (Evergreen Speedway) From what the track was saying was that the track will be closed at the end of the year but some events may be held at the end of the airport or close to it but no drags.
Unless something has changed in the last about month Bremerton said they werent going to have a 2006 season there at all.
The cruise will still happen with or with out SRT's. I am the the one organizing it. It is organized by NWDSM. They have so graciously invited us and any other turbo vehicle. I am still debating. I am leaning towards going on the cruise. For a few reasons.
1st I missed it last year.
2nd I would really like to make this run, it may be something the SRT's want to do alone later this summer.
3rd I would like to meet some of new people. They have also invited us on a st hellens run they do later in the year I think late July. So this will give me a chance to see if I want to make that run with them later this year.
4th Any excuse for me to run down to Oregon I usually except.
Also I guess the guy who put this on made a turbo kit for a friends SRT and it runs 12.2 on street radials. I wanted to check out the set up.
