the card on the license does work...just make it obvious. "if lost return to" type of thing. A concealed weapons permit is good as well. Just tell the officer that you have on and give it to him with your license. Even if you dont have a weapon in the car or on you. The officer doesn't want to go back to the car and find out that you may have a weapon.
