McConnell wasn't as bad. The base was lacking but I met some pretty cool people. And the base was pretty light. I liked Keesler a lot more though. But I think I was a southern boy in a previous life.
I worked KC-135s out of the 22nd AMXS at McConnell.
You?

Heard alot of good things about keesler.........biloxi right???
Keesler, I was told, was the shit before katrina. I got there post katrina. It was torn up pretty bad. But, the southern atmosphere was still alive and it was pretty crazy to be around. A lot of people are real nice around there... And who can argue with deep frying anything that is edible? I got out last November. I was thinking about coming up to McChord to work avionics on the c-17s, but I would have to finish my degree first. And I really wasn't that fond of avionics.
