OK just a couple of tips.....before you get crazy cranking up boost, do some fuel upgrades...secondly stock turbos max out at 18-19psi, beyond that you are just blowing hot air.

The stock turbo isn't blowing hot air at 18-19psi? heh.. I imagine it's out of it's efficiency range at 14psi, if not sooner.

probably, but we've all pushed 'em past 14 psi and made more power my point is that beyond this boost level a stock turbo runs out of legs.

So much wrong info...

OP, let me know if you want to try out a DSP. We are local and have, fuel systems, cly heads, cams, big turbo kits, ect ect sitting on the shelf. The best place to start would be DP, DSP, pump rewire, and DF FMIC. These few items will get you up to 270 to 280 WHP on pump gas. If you want to run more boost then larger injectors will be needed.

The stock turbo is good to 19 psi all day long (IAT logged to show this), in order to run fast at the track you will need to run a 22 to 24 psi spike, then have it falling down to 19/18 by redline. The initial spike will show a bit of a jump in IAT's but after that they stay very consistant % wise over ambient. We have some crazy set ups on the shop cars and if you want to swing by and look at them let us know. We are very close to you every Friday or Saturday night up by the Krispy Kream in Puyallup. Swing by and talk with a few of the guys that have the faster SRT4's in the area.

But he'd need a head shim for that, his compression is too high. Might blow the welds on his intake manifold!

So you just hang out in the parking lot of Krispy Kream on Friday nights? Or is your business like next door or something? I'm not familiar with the area, but I'm not all that far off either..
