This saturday and sunday is Neon Nights in The Dalles Oregon. Saturday night is a downtown cruize and sunday 10-5 is drag racing over at Dallesport Airport. I have missed this event two years in a row, but will not miss it this year. Come out and check it out guys you will dig it, but if your thinking pro and preped drag strip think again, it will be a airport runway with apple juice on the starting line. Just like they did back in the old days. Hope so see some of you there. I will be cruizing and racing my car there.

Shit I would love to BUT

This stupid state cant seem to fight its own fires that started from a bunch of hippies hugging trees. We just got alerted today. We are working thru the weekend to deploy out somewhere in eastern bum fuck washington to fight fires on Monday. Most worthless state ever. You find the one piece of Washington that does not get rained on every 20 minutes and set fire to it.

I dont know if I am on the first group or not but I still have to work thru the weekend to push the 1st 300 guys out. Undecided if the next 300 will go or not by the powers that be. Dont you people have a National Guard for this sort of thing or not enough people willing to put on green?

If I go it will be for 30 days or more. Just what I need.

Easyest ways to get there are from western Wa. I5 south to I84 east.
From eastern washington 14 west to 197 south to I84.
From western Or north I5 to I84 east.
From eastern Or 197 north.
