This last weekend i went for a drive with some srt 4s. Two of them were racing and the the cop pulled all of us over and gave us racing tickets. My car go impounded and spend some time in jail. Dose anyone know a good lawyer to help me out with this? I have talked to a few lawyers and they said it would cost me about five grand and get the charge down to a neg. 2.

I feel awful about this Richie! We were having that conversation about police presence and then this happened. Sucky.
Not a good moment for us.
For those wondering I believe the count is 4 out of 7 were impounded and arrested for illegal street racing. Some of them like Richie here wasn't even really doing anything, he went over the bridges where there were more police waiting and was charged just because he was in the group. They were not letting anyone go.

Another reason why as close as I get to even speeding is about 5mph over, don't romp on it much getting up to the legal 60mph anymore. I always see about 3-5 cops on my way to work every day both directions.

I had a friend that got pulled over and ticketed for "racing" he swore up and down he was not (someone passed going about 100+ and he was speeding about 25 over so I guess it looked like a race to the officer that saw it). Anlyway it cost him about 3500 bucks in lawer fees, a PI to dig up dirt on the cop and about 3 court trips to get it reduced to a 500 doller ticket without the racing.
I think his Ishur went up to about 320 bucks a month! so it ended up costing big time.

I see were they are coming from with this (RED). Its like if 4 friends went into a bank, 2 of them robbed it well the other two looked on (knowing this was going to happen before hand). If they all got caught right after they all would be charged with something regardless of who was doing the actual crime....
we had no intention of racing. When i go on srt 4 meets we drive around the area in big groups and go places. I think it is cool when we drive around. What happened is a black G35 taunted one of the lead cars and they raced. I go to the track to race. The only reason why i posted this is i need a good lawyer to get this dropped or else this charge that i did not do will cost me my job.
