Default NASCAR Guys: Bremerton track

Yea I'm sure you guys realize this is old news but I'm quite shocked that this hasn't appeared in the northwest forum.

NASCAR is coming to Bremerton.

This would be interesting to see if legislature approves. The track out there now says they are starting to fade out/close the track because cant afford to tay open and the airport I believe would like to expand.

Nascar out there would be excellent, South enders can get there pretty easily, North enders can get there pretty easily. The only problem I see id the population growth out there and we will have the second(not even open yet) narrows bridge maxxed out with Traffic. But the toll should pay off quickly.

I'm looking forward to the revenue that it will bring the area. NASCAR has the the highest audience attendance numbers of any sport (100,000+). Good for the hotel industry, restraunts, beer and Git-R-Dun shirt vendors.

Thats only if they use it. I mean they have a NASCAR track in Monroe. The one I use for the Drifting events. They had a big Nascar event ther some years ago then only used it for like the junior nascar stuff.

I'm sure if they spend good money like that they will have some Events ther but For them to keep coming back year after year people need to attend.

Jaymz BTW I can see how your mind works. Your going down to the bank tomorrow to get a loan to start a Get R Dun T Shirt company tomorrow arent you?

We have a business account at my bank with that name . . . I don't know what sort of business it is though. I just saw the name on a list. That's it . . . just wanted to share!

..all excellent business ventures when marketing alongside a nascar venue.

i would like there to be a local nascar track. seriously, weather is not dependable here. it would be scary just to purchase tickets to an event. ..and i dont see any promise or intention to host a nextel cup event. the other series' would be a nice catch, but the cup series is what its all about.

they claim that 'most' monies spent at the track would come from out of state.. i question the accuracy of that claim.
