Default My new Radiator story.

Hey guys, just thought i would share a short story with everyone. So i crashed my car. I needed a radiator. I found a couple around but all the local one i could not get for a while for different reasons. So i started looking on line. after a little bit i found this.

http://www.radiator.com/index.php?cm...FQLYYgodJx1hWA

And they had this lame typeing thing where they ask you questions and shit but i thought i would try it out anyways. They said they were going to call me and like 10 sec later i got a call from a very nice guy here in washington. They did not have my radiator in stock but another one of there warehouses did on the east cost. He quoted me 160 on it. And then he looked into it and gave me FREE fed ex next day air. I got it in, it was the right radiator. and it was even a KOYO radiator. I only payed 166.xx after tax.
Im very happy.

Glad it worked out for you. If you can find a hood elsewhere look into grey hound to ship it. Cost alot less then by normal mail and might get you the color you want if it does not have to be local.

Hmmm will see about that. I got the radiator in, Man dodge wants you to take the ac condencer off with the radiator and fan as a whole assembly or something man i had a bith trying to get the radiator out without the ac condencer. I ended up crackin the fan shroud.

Doh, that sucks. You can fix that fan shroud, it's just plastic. Usually if you noticed something doesn't want to come out on its own, take the whole thing out.

You sure that core support is gonna pull out Michael? It looks........ummmm........BAD. LOL.

Recharge the ac......you weren't really gonna just release all that CFC's and let it fly were you? Ozone killer! Ozone killer!

Hahahahaha, just playing with ya.

Oh, hey, did you check to make sure the headlights are gonna fit right after you pulled the core support. From the pics, it looks like it serves as a headlamp mounting panel as well. Something for you to play with.

It is a very nice radiator, everything lined up on it very nice. When i worked at the body shop, we would get radiators that didnt have clips on them or nuts or anything. This one had all the nuts and everything. the only thing it didnt have was the rubber mounts. I had to reuse those.

I thought that you were looking at another car? I hate to hear of SRT's going down, but at least we are all learning how to keep these beasts together. Hope you get it back up soon!

Releasing those CFC's into the atmosphere can land you a 25,000 dollar fine if someone reports you lol. Even if its r-134a which is harmless to the atmosphere. I'm EPA certified for type 1,2,3, and universal btw lol
