Default moving on, but not far

so it looks like i will have my car sold in January, so i will be leaving the SRT-4 owners club . but i won't be going far, my father-inlaw informed me that he knows of a 67' GTX that would fit me fine (my first want was a dart, but he said its not enough of a muscle car , and he's the mechanic that will work on it so i'm not argueing ), so i'll be sticking with the mopar's and will see alot of you at misc mopar events around the NW

Go back to the Z when you're ready. I think that'll make you pretty happy.

That's a tough call.

IMO it depends on how you intend to sell your car.

If you were just planning to trade the vehicle in, it would probably be better NOT to have the dent repaired. Most dealers want to bring their trades in for less than "book value" and they have relationships with different body shops that would allow them to get the dent fixed for a wholesale price.

By contrast, if you want to sell the vehicle to a retail buyer, you're probably better off getting the dent repaired. For many people, buying a car is an emotional experience - they envision themselves showing all of their friends their new car. A car with a dented door takes away from that vision and turns the negotiation back to the price of the car.

Some retail buyers will be able to look past the dent, but given the recent supply/demand of SRT-4s you probably don't want to eliminate any potential buyers.

Either way, good luck with the sale....
