Default ~a Message About Launching~

About the launching thing, in my opinion most of you with the exception of OzSpeed, myself, and a few select others REALLY need to work on your launches and shifting techniques. I ran a 13.6@99 with a 1.94 60' time on STOCK tires. AND in NASTYVR6's car I ran a 13.08@109 on drag radials with a 1.83 60' time. remeber this is jut my opinion and I might just be wrong or uneducated about driving technique. It just seems like the times you guys are running are REALLY weak for what some of the other people are running at the same tracks. Just my opinion. OH and having a wastegate and getting 300ft/lbs of torque at 2800rpm makes getting traction VERY difficult.

Some things to get if you want to get your short track times down: GET THE SOLID MOTOR MOUNT SET FROM FORWARD MOTION (it's the nicest set avaiable right now or maybe the boomba's havent seen or driven on them yet). ALSO get the Psi-Fi traction kit. Get a set of 15" steel wheels or alloys if you want and a set of 225/50/15 drag radials or 24/7/15 slicks or something about that size depending on manufacturer. with these parts even an idiot could pull 1.8 60' times. Remember the formula for 60' times is that every 1/10 you take off your 60' time is 3/10s at the end of the track. keep that in mind and lets get those 60' times down as a region!!!!!

HAPPY DRIVING I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE FIRST GEN OUT THERE WITH YOU GUYS!!!!
