Lucky track night?
Went to the track last night,.. like i do every friday night, to bring down all the imports hopes and dreams.. I dont kow what happened exactly, but the night started out bad, and didn't end much better.. I'm ahead in the points this year, the winners of every class races for free next year, so I'm being fairly serious with my runs, and with dial-ins.. The first run we get staged, and as the lights are coming down, my car rolls backwards out of the beam, red light comes on .. The green flashes and the other guy leaves,.. I hang for a moment cursing my luck, .. (My car never rolls,, must have been a gust of wind. I look at the track flag, its limp..) I still stomped the other guy, but my run is shot.. My next run,... I'm still pissed, I miss second gear, (never happens) I still win, but run is also shot to use in my estimate for my dial in.. Only one more run before elimination.. I run a descent 12.85.. When eliminations come, I take down the fist two cars, only one more to go.. He gets about 2.5 second headstart, and I easily run em down, but just as I'm coming up to his rear bumper, gaining fast, my lower hot side inter-cooler pipe blows off right when I hit fourth gear,... my car just falls flat on its face ... He wins by a fender... Lady Luck spits om my windshield... Bitch!
