Question A little confused here....

So I'm driving down the road, it was all wet out and raining if this help any, but I duobt it, and I stopped somewhere to eat in Lakewood. And I pull outta he driveway very slowly because I cant see very well in either direction... And my CEL comes on, but car is still driving normally. I reset the PCM and nothing since, a day has gone by since then. Only thing that I can think of that I changed is I put in some injector cleaner for the first time since 6 moths ago (some FastTune stuff). Hmm I'm confused here, and I ca list my mods but I don't know if that will help... The only thing that I can say is that I have never had CEL for atleast 8 months since before I had S1 and was getting CEL because of PTB with S0... anyways heres the mods enginewise...

FPR Mod, Fuel Rewire Kit, JMB Ultimate intake w/Apexi Power Intake, K&N Crankcase breather, AGP WGA w/PTP Spring, Cusco Catch can, .35 Gapped NGK V-powers (colder), HP Racing Turboback. Hmm I cant think of anything else...

Car drives normal and cant see why that would happen. Anyways, coulda been something to do with the additive or something who knows but it wont happen again so oh well. If it does happen again isnt there a way that I can get the car to tell me an error code on the flashy light on the gauge cluster or something??

Loose gas cap. Evap code is a phantom code that shows up on all Dodge vehicles. Did the fuel light just come on then it set the code or did you fill up with fuel prior to the code being set? Its a common "hey there" and go away code.

Or you can click the key to from the off position to the on position 3 times quickly and keep in it the on position on the third time and search the forum for the code definition...

Did that Porsche in your sig ever pass you? I'm curious........

It would be a great idea to look up your code prior to resetting it. Kinda helps you know what might be wrong with your car.

Gas Cap? You gotta be fucking kidding me? He probably gets gas once a week. You're telling me he accidently forgot how to screw the cap back on. Get real.

If he did a PCM reset the code will be stored in "stored history" the only way to pull if from there will be a scan tool.

Shifty if you show up to the n end meet I will bring the scan tool with me.

If you can't make that just run over to schmucks and have them pull the code.

Most of the Schucks test equipement will only show active, not stored codes. You have to have a scan tool that is model specific in order to get stored codes most the time.

I have had no problem pulling stored codes with the turn key method, but your the authority with the trader rating of 492

Speaking of which, Hansken I still have that radiator and should be shooting down to your area in this weekend or next...

The turn key method will show current active and active codes (last 2 key cylces). The stored codes will stay in the PCM stay alive memory till they are cleared with a scan tool and if you have acess to the EEE ID parameters you can see every code ever set with the time and date stamp on them.
