Now that I have said this let me go on record for stating that in no way am I "showing up at your work to settle this one on one", that is for children. If you choose to settle it this way let me know in a PM, that will be your choice not mine.
I have my reasons for pulling out the stops here in the last days and you all know good and damn well why I have done this. You feed the fire and I will respond for now on. Its a waste of my time and yours, so lets solve this.
I would like to keep opinions as personal feelings as low as possible. Just the facts for resolving this. It would be simple, if your involved post up. If not (Zane delete them) stay out. I know this is in an open forums but the NW shit has gone on long enough. I say either put it to bed or, agree to dissagree. If you are game I am willing to work this out, if not why keep feeding the fire.
This is me trying to work this out. If it gets deleted then I guess its best that I say out of the NW like I wanted to. But with things like what is in JR's avitar (all over the site just not the NW) I have to go to guns and speak my mind. You decide if you want to settle this or keep the ball rolling, I have nothing but resolve on my mind.

This by no means is saying I dislike you John. but here are some things I wish you would change and may help out in the future once all this stuff is clear
1)keep disputes private between you and the other party/ies, leave this stuff out of the open forumn.
2)if someone says something about you bad simply smile and nod, because in the long run they will look bad not you, and customers do not like seeing a vendor act so mean.
3)opinions about products are jsut that, you know full well not everyone will like your product. Some are all about big name stuff only. in the world of SRT4s ptp is big but in the overall tuner world you are like comparing Levi to faded Glory. That means you may have a better product but not the huge name so naturally some people will not like your stuff.
4)keep you personal matters exactly that personal, and keep others personal matters personal. Gossip and shit talk should be reserved for the women. I feel the only time details like people drinking to much and all that non sense should be talked about in person while working on cars.
5)Not always but sometimes just stop talking instead of always trying to get that last word in. That is what keeps alot fo this stuff going is people always fighting for the last statement.

x2 on that one. i barelly know you john and not to get on your bad side or cause more drama, but i will NEVER buy a product from ptp just based on what i read on the forums and i am not talking about what people say about them i am talking about how you as a person handle the people who are around you. a mature serious buisnessman would be the bigger man and would not waste their time with the bull shit that goes on on these forums. when you get over involved in things or when you personal attack someone whether it is provoked or not it just makes me second guess what your reaction would be if a product of yours is not all that you say it is or if somethings goes wrong with it. it makes me wonder whether you will back it up or if you will become angry and defensive like you do in some posts.
like i said, your a nice guy and i have no problem with you. but giving away my money to someone that post such things as you do makes me very hesitant and nervous. hopefully this will all blow over and can all be made right and a respectful name can be brought back to PtP.

wow, has it really come to this? i will give props to john for being so connected with his local customer base, that he is reaching out to them in one form or another for resolution. i think these guys want the personal attention that PTP has given them from the begining, the problem is that PTP is a mainstream shop now and it is very hard to maintain personal relationships with customers when you have a million customers instead of a hundred. i know we all have PTP parts on our cars and have gained from PTP being in our back yards. this isnt buisness anymore, its become personal. this website is for cars, personal buisness can be found at myspace. lets just focus on srt4s being faster than other cars. long live the love in the NW!
I'll put my two cents in. In my opinion, John's products are far better than other items I have purchased for my car. Anytime I've had a question, he has responded. I don't know the whole story, and I've only briefly read a few here and there's.
Personally I know first hand how immature some forum members are on here. I guess the computer gives some people extra ego.
John, just keep making good products, and remember you do have quite a bit of satisfied customers. What happens in your personal life is just that...your personal life. In my eyes, It doesn't affect how I see PTP as a business...btw I'm still looking forward to that build!
im gonna hop in without knowing everything and choose a side here. I have never dealt with a person who has been so helpful to me about anything. I know it has not just been me who has been helped by john either. You cant get that kinda help from anyone let alone a vendor. it is sad that it has come to this but it looks like something has to be done here.
i have to agree with valerie :whoa: john helped me via emails and on the phone when i had problems and he didnt even know me... i was just in the region...
you guys are lucky.. having a vendor/small business geared toward our cars... and in your backyards!

John your a friend of mine. I care less about your business and what you do or do not have to offer me as a srt owner. If you knew nothing about cars you would still be a friend of mine.
That being said what mac said hits it right on the head. Right on it man. You are very passionate about your business. You should be but you have to let it speak for itself. It does nothing to fight with other vendors (duh, of course they will knock your stuff. They want the sales, same as you) or srt owners who have a different opinion. Let your business and your customers speak for themselves and shut the fuck up.

The only post on here you just accept are the ones humping your leg and just like with any public leg humper they have their own agenda. Edit: Just thought of the best solution. This type fo crap belongs in the vendor section. John if you want to start threads like this or state all the facts, go to the PTP section, If people have a problem with John that is where these threads need to be done. This is the NW SRT Section not Drama LAB.
