Default Lets get your car ready for summer...

There are lots of things with your car that people take for granted. Fluids, plugs and wires, and over all health of your car.

This is what I have in mind. Through out spring and early summer I want to get a bunch of one day events set up so people can get thier cars running in top shape.

What I am thinking:

Boost leak days
Fluid flush days
Injector cleaning day
Tune up day
Dyno day
BBQ day (every one day event wil have a BBQ as well)

We just had a boost leak day and those will be free ever time we sponsor one.

Fluid flush days will be trans, brake and power steering fluid, cost to you:

$65.00

We will use Mopar ATF+4 for the trans and power steering and a good DOT 4 brake fluid for the brake fluid. We will have Royal Purple on hand for the trans and power steering for those that want to upgrade. If you want to swap over to a silicone or DOT 5 brake fluid that will be something you have to schedule with us because the system needs to be flushed with mineral spirits. DOT 5 fluid and DOT 3/4 don't mix thats the reason for the flush. We will only be able to get 6 to 8 cars done for this event and expect to spend the whole day getting this done because there will be no order of importance for those that get there cars done first. Its around 45 minutes per car to get all the fluids flushed. We use pressure or vacuum systems to flush the brake and power steering systems. Using the correct tools means you get the most out of the flush.

Injector flush day, cost to you:

$59.00, $155.00 if you want a new fuel filter as well.

We use an injector flushing tool that uses a pressurized can to feed the injectors with a cleaning solution that burns in the combustion chamber as well to clean out deposits. We then put a can in the tank for long term cleaning of your injectors and combustion chambers. Normal price for this is $199.00 at most shops and dealerships. This normally takes 20 minutes per car so we will only be able to get though so many cars in one day.

Tune up day, wires and plugs, cost to you:

$52.00 (plugs and wires, we have red, black and blue wires to choose from and NGK and Champion plugs)

We will gap the plugs and check the coil out put with the lab scope before and after the tune up to verify the changes.

Dyno day, that will be a separate post when we start to get closer to summer. Wet dyno rollers suck to dry off and take forever to get a clean run on.

BBQ days should happen when we have covered all the above events.

Now what I need from you.... what weekend will work best for these events? Please post up what days would work best and lets try to keep them 3 to 4 weeks apart, thanks guys.

Those will be on different days so keep that in mind. I will be getting with my wife and setting the dates for these events. Maybe we could get this sticked so I don't have to pull it off the second page when I check up on it... Zane?

I will have dates set up here in the next week.

As soon as dates are confirmed I will be happy to sticky. Also if it could lower the price at all I think I can probably get most if not all fluids donated. I am also guessing that these will be done at your place John? If a outside drive on lift would help speed things up I might also be able to schedule the use of this if you are willing to move location, for one or more of these events.

Give me a call or check you EMAILS.

I think thats a great idea John.....not sure how things "used to be" but I have to think that this may be a good way for everyone to make things the way "they used to be" and make things fun around here again.........count me in

Usually any weekend is good for me. This is what makes Jon and PTP performance so great. Things like this show me that his business cares. He has been great to me and now my girlfriends SRT as well. Things like this is why I continue to buy from PTP and will even more and larger in the future.
