Default I have a question...anyone have an answer ?

I have a CEL code P0508. I have checked the IAT sensor using my buddies good IAT sensor and clearing the codes with the DSP. As soon as I sart the car the CEL comes on with P0508. I didn't notice any problems with the wiring, but not sure.

Is there something else I can check out ?

p0508=IAC(idle air control) motor not IAT sensor

If you have a question, I should have an answer....

If you have a question, than I have the BETTER answer....

If you have an answer, I will make fun of it

those should be your best resources.

I had the code and replaced the IAC. From time to time a few owners have gotten a little crap built up in the IAC and it doesnt perform correctly.

Happened about 80-90K miles for me.

Replace the IAC, its the best solution for a permanent fix. We have seen this time and time again, debris gets built up inside (missed your maitinence cleaning of your t-body) the IAC and then it shorts out the solenoid due to the debris. Order up another unit.
