No this is not another fuck ptp thread i'm just wondering if there's any easier way to get this thing on. Everytime i do it i have to put the t-bolt clamp at a fucked up angle and wiggle shit around. Fitment just seems tough. I cant get the damn thing to stay on the IC on a stock turbo setup at ~20psi. Any help/ideas welcome. This will be the 4th time this week i'm getting under there to try to keep this bastard on there. What am i doing wrong? It seems tight as fuck. I have a quickwhips IC
Maybe try a different clamp? Wiggling is part of owning an srt :djortiz:
Maybe try taking your taillights apart and niteshading a Monster logo in there?

i just saw your post in that thread. That looks so gay what a fag. I took the bumper off last night trying to get it on there. I think i'm gonna make my own pipe. My IC is at a weird angle i think. I just want a coupler that will go really far down the pipe, and then i'll cut my hotside where need be. Are both IC inlet and charge pipe outlet 2.5?
swivel head 2 foot extension and deepwell socket. take out the head light and either pull the bumper out of the way or remove it turn the clamp so you can get the socket on it and tighten don't ask! lets just say i've been there

They are all 2.5 inches in size, problem being... you need to clear the AC bracket or it will run a hole in the piping (silicone units wear very quick). That is why we knock the pipe down into an oval unit, clearance issues.
t bolts clamps strip out easy if you loosen and tighten em up to often...best thing to do is to torque it down and leave it.......the threads get mangled....get some new tbolts from NAPA, they're like 3 bucks a piece....torque em down, then tighten em some more....than some more....thaN LEAVE EM THE FUCK ALONE

WTF? Really? I've never had to go that far to tighten any clamps on the 3 different ICs I've had! That's some crazy shit.
Mark - I'll show you some tricks next time I see ya. Maybe we need to meet up this weekend.
Sometimes i take the brackets off the radiator and move it off to the drivers side as best i can and that gives me a little extra room to get in there and thighten the clamp from the top
I have to laugh at that, because I have read so many threads on this forum about t-bolt clamps having issues it's not funny. I've never had an issue with the factory clamps on this car or my last turbo car, and my Dad boosts 24+ lbs on his GN and uses traditional clamps with no issues whatsoever. T-bolt clamps are a scam.
