zane and others: can you recommend any of the businesses listed above to tune a map clamp and possibly water injection. my map clamp came today and i intend on going water injection soon. i have no beef with going to intec because 1) its close and 2) my dynos will be accurately related to my previous dynos there. as in, all dynos give variable readings. if i go there my performance will be most accurately compared to the same dyno ive already used.

thanks.

Ok first. No Dyno is needed for map clamp. Intec will be fine for tuning they know there stuff. How much they are familiar with water/alcohol injection I dont know. Depending on when you want all this done. I can let you in on something I'm working on. I am planing another Dyno Day. probably mid March. Most likely at Torque freaks in Portland. I have spoke with them many of times and I believe them to be far more knowledgable and wide variety of experiance then Intec. I am giving Intec a chance to match Torque freaks offer, but right know Intec says same as last year. $35 for 2 pulls. +$10 for O2. NO Tunning. I pay up front. I am mad by this because I see them giving Honda groups way better deals. $20 for 2 pulls or like this weekend I believe its $15 to hook up then $5 per pull.

Torques is offering $30+O2 Free. Its a little drive. Also they said if I pay in advance we can do whatever we want. If someone wants to tune they can pay alittle more and Tune. I believe it will come out to $60 an hour. If we get a great response like last year. They said I can do all weekend for cheap. maybe drop it down to $50 an hour. Plus they wont open late or close early.

Just let us know when you want to come down and we'll take care of you guys any way we can. I'm making a post about our first major dyno day of 2005. You guys should think about coming...even if just to watch. Last event we had 600 people show up and 100 cars dyno. It's a crazy time, that's for sure Look for the thread in this forum (NW forum). Take care!

When is the next dyno day? Is there one in the works?? Being the begining of winter and all maybe we should set one up??? I would be very interested. Dynoing alone just isn't the same.

You should ad Wong's Performance Engineering in Vancouver. He has a mustang dyno and does mostly custom tuning and performance. I know he tunes the Vipers for one particular delealer in the area. Great guy to work with, certfied tech as well as degreed Elect Engineer. He is an expert tuner.
