Default Ayuda me..

aka.. 'help me' in Spanish.

In effort to alleviate my car problems, I plan on purchasing a new fuel pump possibly this month. Anyone in the 253 willing to help me install it? I heard it's quite the PITA to put in. Also, anyone willing to try and diagnose my car, meaning I'd be more than happy for you to drive it and possibly make a diagnostic, please let me know. Problems so far:

Doesn't Start up initially on cold stars; takes the car 2 times to turn-on
@ WOT, it bucks; hard. (plugs and coil just changed ~3k miles ago)

mods: ptp map/tip clamp, s2 wga, ptp fpr mod, diy catch can.

I just want it to run like it ran when I first put all that junk on. It lit up 2nd all day on dry pavement. Thanks gals/guys.

Any more mods than what you have listed? If not, I really don't see why you'd mess with the FPR, should have penty of fuel for the setup. First thing I'd do is return the FPR to stock. Second, the fuel pump is actually a lot easier than it sounds. If you don't already have a How To, send me a pm and I'll write one up for ya. Did mine not too long ago.

How many miles?

I'm thinking Fuel Filter.

Are you upgrading your pump? If not I have a stock with like 25k on it you are welcome to have. This will make your install simple as long as your tank only has a couple gallons in it. In fact simple enough Tim can do it.

That's it bro. Regards to the fuel, I know; Somewhere along the line, it just went in to straight limp mode.

Still haven't replaced the fuel filter yet? I will do that before you do the pump, but that is just me.

Yes the FPR. If that filter is plugged you will need to get it replaced. We have been super busy this last few weeks getting all the cars up and running. Please try us today and call the shop phone, not the shop cell. Thanks.
