Okay, i need your guys' help.
So i installed the new shift selector and all that, put everything back together. And when everything was said and done, i got in the car and was stuck in 4th.. god damnit. So i get out and start all over again, loosen all the bolts, and i fuck with some shit and now i can get in 1-4, not 5 and R.
So back out again, blah blah blah i cant fucking get it to go into 5th and R. I called John, and he said that i need to mess with the forks, and get them, and the stick into neutral before i throw the cap back on.
..There inlies the problem, what the hell does neutral look like.
Here's a shitload of pictures, if somebody could take it into paint or something and point out what needs to be where that would be EXTREMELY appreciated. I've calmed down now but i'm pretty sure i broke 2 or 3 of my socket wrenches.
Word of advice.... Just stop now before it gets worse... Let it all wash away... This post backs up your post count. You might be able to bench 300lbs, but this internet is Serious Business and you are not ready....
friend: got any oil?
mork: only 30 weight, sorry man.
friend: its cool.
mork: you put 30 weight on eggos?
friend: its cool man, just tell me where it is.
mork: whatever, its between the bbq sauce and the miracle whip.
start your car and slowly let out the clutch , if it wants to go your not in nuetral, once you can let the clutch out and not go anywere id say your in neutral. thats just how id do it if i was in your perdicament.
another way would to remember what gear ,im asuming either 1st or 2nd that you were in when you parked or it broke, which means youd eithr move your selection up or down...make any sense? if not sure someone else will be of more help.
