How about "4 inches...because we can." Or "Caliber sewer system"...something about a toilet never clogging might be funny...I have no clue. I need to quit asking the guy in my office for ideas.

LOL that was funny, thanks.

I have to agree with the 44 Caliber kit, that sounds good and fits the car, no pun intended.

Its the bore and strock of the motor. I way more square then the SRT4N and very Honda like. The new exhaust way louder under boost and sounds great at idle. Getting rid of the "ricer" sound is going to be very tough with this car. Its the design of the motor and looks like we will be stuck with it.

I wish that were the case, its now more hondish then it was before. At idle its sounds way better but up top and under boost.... all honda. I have tried 3 different mufflers now and they all sound similar. Damn DCX for there new motor design.

so just a question, but is this a turboback 4",catback 4", or axleback 4"? Seems a little overkill for the tiny caliber turbo. The intake sounds like a good idea though.

The DP/o2 housing is 3.5 inches then after the flex section it's 4 inches. It is a bit much but... there are going to be many running bigger turbos on these cars soon enough so its there for them as well. The gains are considerable over the 3 inch system that was on the car (comes from the factory with the 3 inch system). Here are some pictures so you can see what the system looks like.

We are going to try 2 mufflers in the system and see if that quiets things down a bit. If not, I don't know what to do about it. I guess its like the WRX sound, no matter what muffler you put on those cars you still get that Subie sound. I guess they were shooting for a "one type" of sound with the SRT4C as well.

true, but equal length headers shut up the boxer rumble and make it sound ricey.
