you can try to connect to the wire that goes to the coil
you have one positive and 2 negative (grounded by the pcm), use one of those 2
but i don't know how the e-boost will react ...i know the avcr work's but will miss a heart beat from time to time lol
but if you want some part number those switch are about 5$ each
the only thing that is a bit more costly is the wot switch but that is only necessary if you want less ptb (i was setting 0 boost when in ptb)
i will get the newark part number later tonignt
ps in my design i used magnetic switch...i tried ordinary switch and the clicking sound was annoying and magnetic swich are cheaper and easyer to install
pss i even have i friend who have them but don't use it, if your interested even has a bracket
you can try it using the speed sensor instead of the RPM sensor, this way it will be boost by speed. Not quite as good as boost by gear but works good still

fuck why i didn't think about that
and the speed signal wont need a tach adapter
i don't know how exactly this signal will equal what in rpm
but i use it to trig my nitrous and work's fine with my varisafe
thats the way i have it connected,
i just taped into the speed signal of the plug that goes to our main instrument cluster.
but how would i setup the e-boost to work for 1st and 2nd gear for example
relative to the speed offcourse.
and one more thing, i might have a boost leak i think, cause can only boost to 13.6 for now, question here is: does the e-boost have any other settings like obS protection that might be preventing me from boosting more ??
something else to consider aswell, my e-boost vacuum lines are setup in a way that i have a double t so that i can run boost only source for my fpr!
maybe this way setting things up makes a differance ??
with boost by speed, there is no boost by gear, to use it you set the Eboost to rSP, which is rpm boost mapping, but now your using the speed sensor instead of RPM, so it wont work with the gear changes properly. Actualy now that I think about it if you get the resolution so that it maxes out at a slow speed you can prob use the switching also?? Will take some testing for sure to see
It will take some testing, you can change boost every 500rpms, depending on how many cyls you tell Eboost you have, changes the resolution from the speed sensor. So "500rpms" could be 5mph or 10mph jumps, ect.. And you dont need to have it when your doing 100mph, so keep the resolution at low speeds where it can help.
Also be sure to set it conservative b/c wheel spin will make you get more boost which is not what you want.
There is an over boost shut down, its ObS on page 18 in the manual.
Come on, please read the manual its not hard, it tells you what you need to know.

They also have a forum, although its scarce. Its not too bad after reading over the manual a couple times. Dont hesitate to PM me if you need some info
