hey everyone. i was wonderin what everyone thought about their turbo timer and what brand they were th happiest with... sry if this is in the wrong section im new at this
i'm looking into getting one too. i know it's not a performance mod but it does serve an important purpose for the overall health of the car. it may not net you hp but it'll net you miles over the life of the car.

I just finally picked 1 up after 3 years because I am getting all my prep things for some major power upgrade. I got a used greddy off the boards that I will install this weekend..
they wont net you miles for your car, but for your turbo. If you are a fool and run late everywhere you go then i guess get one, otherwise just let the car idle after abusing it, it only takes a minute or two when u abuse the car, and only seconds with regular driving.
i vote DONT GET ONE, spend the hundo on a used WG, and map clamp, or hell anything BUT the turbo timer.

This mod is deffenitly worth it, saves me oil, if you let the turbo run hard like I do on my stage 3 because im always in boost and shut it off with out letting it idle , you are burning oil. The oil is not re-circulating , so therefore it burns because its hot and not recirculating then when you reach 1500 miles you wonder where the oil is....
Having a turbo timer is helpfull it saves oil, dont post something dumb if you dont know.
I would get one... I have a apexi and it works great and it was cheap. Also if you live in a cold place (alaska like i do) then it works as a auto start kinda. Start the car leave it running and take the keys
