S2 wastegae on S0 car

hey guys i got a s2 wastegate from a friend of mine and it was on a 05 and it was holdin about 17-18 psi. I now have a 03 s0 with exhaust and intake. stock boost. Can i put this wastegate on my car with it being stock and not worry about anything. because it was on his stock 05 and it rans like a champ. thanks for the help.

yes you can still install the stage 2 wg in ur car, if u boost it way to high you will get timing and a code (engine ligh will come on). other than that is cool.
