Do I need a turbo timer?

04 SRT with only a CAI. Is a turbo timer worth looking into now. Is this something i should have to worry about when I mod a little.

unless you race allot or run your car hard all the time I would say no...I have one and rarely use it...

I have a 05 with a cai and exhaust. The timer was the first thing I bought. I drive my srt pretty hard some times and why take a chance? I plan to upgrade the turbo someday but why lessen the life of the one I have. Besides it will be one less thing you will need to do later and thier cheap and easy to install. I would say go for it.

if on stock turbo, no. not worth it. its water cooled... and doesnt require it.
