I have the HKS EVC 5 but I don't recommend it. It controls the boost just fine but I hate that it only reads in KPA not PSI.

turbosmart controller does boost by gear and tps so you can eliminate PTB completely and dial boost by gear.

at 580 new, its not cheap though.

I have that now and it has worked very well, be carefull where you mount it though, I some how damaged mine after having it for a year, when I flip the switch to use the high boost it blows the fuse. Even tried a new switch and rewiring it, lol! Think moisture got into the electronic side of things and burned something out.

Looking for a new MBC but I had a question that no one answered in the performance section on them. I have run many EBC's over the years and I did not like a single one, but the TurboSmart one was proabaly the best, but they all spiked like crazy, the settings seemed to change every single day, and after a while you just get sick of messing with them. Hell I had one when it was on it's lowest setting would cause me to spike 34psi then drop down to 10!! That was the last straw after about 3 weeks of messing with gains and taking advice. I'll take a MBC any day over the fanciest electro drap out there!!

It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic, never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast, it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up."

You know! Almost everybody on here has a different opinion. What is the best BRand for someone who has "NEVER" messed with one of these things.
