read the manual, get the FSM to look for the wires you need

what do you need cliffnotes on?

a detailed how-to is written on how to wire it up.
so i wont even bother with that

this thing NEEDS a tach adapter. no ifs, ands, or butts. to those that say you dont, are full of shit.

dont use ANY of the special features. makes boost totally unstable.

if you are stock turbo, sell it. it will do you nothing that a mbc cant do.

what i would like to find out is if there is any easy way to wire up an avcr if you already have an safc-2 installed. is there any way to use the same wiring for both, or do i have to run a new tach adapter and all that again?

huh?

you wire in 7 wires from the avcr...and tie into the tach adapter...not sure what your whole question is...

my question is, since the avcr and safc use some of the same wires is there an easier way to wire up one or the other if you already have one. as with my situation, i already have an safc installed. i now have an avcr that i'm considering installing and am trying to find the easiest way to do the install. also can the tach adapter that is used for the safc also be tapped into for use with the avcr.

maybe that makes sense...

the avcr wiring is completely independent from the safc. i run both.

the only things that will be similar is you tap the avcr into the tach adapter as well.

there is a how-to in the how to section on this forum which give detailed instructions on how to install it.
